To be entered, an automobile or motorcycle must be a well preserved or accurately restored vehicle still capable of doing what it was meant to do—to be driven. It will almost certainly have some historic value. Perhaps it served as a platform to introduce new technology or new styling trends or it has an outstanding racing record. And it will be rare—possibly a singular example of a special chassis bearing a respected coachbuilder's art. Automobiles and motorcycles from the model year 1975 and older are eligible for consideration by our selection committee. Juried vehicles of the 2010 Concorso will again be eligible for consideration for the 2013 event, juried 2011 Concorso vehicles will again be eligible in 2014.
See the link to the left for an online application form for the 2012 Santa Fe Concorso. The form and other requested information should be completed for review by our selection committee as soon as possible as the application process will be closed when the field of cars and motorcycles is filled. Notification of the committee’s decisions will commence on April 15, 2012 but the field will not necessarily be completed at that time. Please note there is no application fee and all weekend events are free for up to two persons per juried automobile to a maximum of two automobiles and one person per juried motorcycle to a maximum of two motorcycles.
Our distinguished judges will direct their attention to rating cars and motorcycles for their design, styling and elegance and will determine the winners for the Class Competition and Best of Show and special awards. Only vehicles that are named First in Class are eligible to compete for Best of Show.
Application forms for the 2012 Santa Fe Concorso should be completed online. Note that you will need to upload at least one high resolution JPEG (.jpg) image of the vehicle to complete the form submission.
