Organized by Santa Fe based car aficionados, Santa Fe Concorso is the Southwest's premier automotive gathering. Following in the footsteps of well-known shows such as Amelia Island, the Quail and Pebble Beach, the Concorso features rare and exotic vehicles in spectacular venues.
Santa Fe, a city that Condè Nast has consistently declared as one of the world's great travel destinations, hosts hundreds of galleries, shops and restaurants and offers the visitor endless opportunities to explore the tri-cultural richness of the area. This historic city celebrated its "400 Años del Aniversario" in 2010 and in 2012 is celebrating its centennial birthday of statehood.
Concurrent with the Concorso, and open to all driving enthusiasts, will be three days of touring back roads and mountains surrounding Santa Fe. Friday evening's VIP reception at the Santa Fe Air Center is the kick-off event followed by the popular Saturday morning Mountain Tour for entrants.
An exclusive field of juried automobiles, judged by a nationally recognized panel of auto and design experts, sets the stage on Sunday. The spectacular setting, blue skies of Santa Fe, and light dancing upon curves of steel paint its magic on these classic motoring icons during the annual event. Nationally recognized automotive personalities in attendance at the 2011 event included Sir Stirling Moss, Bob Bondurant, Al Unser Sr., Bill Moss, and Denise McCluggage.
Registered as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the Concorso donates a portion of its proceeds to benefit the youth of Santa Fe and Northern New Mexico.
